Take a picture of what appears on your iPhone screen so you can view it later, share it with others, or attach it to a document.

Take a screenshot of your iPhone with Face ID
Quickly press and release the side button and turn up the volume button simultaneously.

The screenshot thumbnail will temporarily appear in the lower left corner of the screen.

Tap the thumbnail to see the screenshot or swipe left to close it.

Screenshots are automatically saved to the photo gallery in the Photos App. To see all your screenshots in one place, open Photos, tap Albums, and then tap Screenshots under Media Type.

Do one of the following:

On an iPhone with Face ID: Quickly press and release the side button and turn up the volume button simultaneously.

On an iPhone with a home button: Quickly press and release the side button and home button at the same time.

Tap the screenshot thumbnail in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Tap Full Page, tap Finish, and then do one of the following:

Tap "Save to Photos" to save the screenshot in the Photos gallery.

Tap "Save PDF to File," select a location, and tap "Save" to save the screenshot in the File App.
