Answer: When foreign individuals forget their password, they can click the “Retrieve Password” button on the “Login/Register” page of the personal income tax APP to reset the password. Firstly, they need to fill in the identity information first, and then choose to use their mobile phone number or bank card for verification. After passing the verification, they can complete the setting of the new password in the “Set a New Password” page.

If the password cannot be retrieved through the above methods, foreign individuals can bring the original valid identification documents to the local tax service hall to reset the password, and then use the new password to log in to the individual income tax APP.
