The Cowherd only has an old cow and a plow, and he goes down to the field every day at dawn, and when he comes home, he has to cook and wash his own clothes, and his life is very hard. The weaver girl blushed and nodded, and they became husband and wife, a man ploughing and a woman weaving, and lived a happy life.
   A few years later, they gave birth to two children, a boy and a girl, and the family lived very happily. One day, suddenly the sky was full of dark clouds, the wind was fierce, the thunder and lightning were combined, the Weaver Girl was gone, the two children were crying, and the Cowherd was so anxious that he didn't know what to do. When she was in a hurry, the dark clouds suddenly dispersed again, the weather became beautiful again, and the Weaver Girl returned home, but her face was full of gloomy clouds. I saw her gently pull the cowherd, and then took the two children into her arms, and said: "Actually, I am not a mortal, but the granddaughter of the queen mother, now, someone from the heavenly palace is going to take me back, take care of yourself!" After that, tears rained down and went away.
   The Cowherd hugged the two young children, wanted to cry without tears, and stood in a daze for a long time. No, I can't let my wife leave me like this, I can't let my child lose his mother like this, I want to find her, I must get the Weaver Girl back! At this time, the old cow suddenly spoke: "Don't be sad! You kill me, put my skin on it, and weave two baskets with two children, and then you can go to the heavenly palace to find the Weaver Girl." The Cowherd said that he didn't want to treat this partner who had been with him for decades, but he couldn't resist it, and there was no other way, so he had to endure the pain and do it with tears in his eyes.
   When she arrived at the Heavenly Palace, the Queen Mother did not want to recognize the Cowherd, the grandson-in-law of the world, and did not let the Weaver Girl come out to see him, but found seven masked women, tall, short, fat and thin, and said to the Cowherd: "You recognize it, and if you recognize it, let you meet." The cowherd was dumbfounded, but the two children in his arms rushed to his mother with joy, it turned out that the blood relatives between mother and son could not be blocked!
   The Queen Mother had no choice, but she was still unwilling to let the Weaver Girl return to the world, so she ordered the Weaver Girl to be taken away. The cowherd was in a hurry, and took the two children to catch up quickly. They ran and ran, and they refused to stop when they were tired, and when they fell and got up again, they saw that they were about to catch up, and the Queen Mother pulled out the golden hairpin on her head in a hurry, and drew a wide Milky Way between them. From then on, the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl could only stand at both ends of the Milky Way, looking at each other from afar. And on the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar every year, thousands of magpies fly back and build a long magpie bridge over the Milky Way, so that the Cowherd and Weaver Girl family can be reunited again.
