The story of Qin Hui
There is a mountain grave by the West Lake. There are four iron figures kneeling in front of Yue's grave, two of which are Qin Hui and his wife, who betrayed the motherland and killed Yue Fei.
According to legend, in the Ming Dynasty, a new governor came to Hangzhou, who was also named Qin and was a descendant of Qin Hui. Soon after Futai took office, he took his men to visit the West Lake. When he came to Yue Tomb, he saw his ancestor kneeling in front of others, hurriedly covering his face with his clothes, and coming back.
When Futai returned to the yamen, he felt uneasy and restless, so he called his teacher to discuss the removal of the iron statue.
The master stroked his beard, thought about it and said, "If the people move in the Ming Dynasty, they will certainly refuse, and maybe they will make things worse." In my opinion, it is better to have these iron statues thrown into the West Lake in the dark of night. Even if the iron statues are sunk at the bottom of such a big West Lake, they will not be found even if the waterwheel is dried up."
Stroking the platform and saying, "Wonderful! Nice!" That night they sent for the statue to be thrown away.
At dawn the next day, a strange thing happened; The water in the West Lake becomes smelly. The stench rose to the sky, making the passers-by dizzy and wanting to vomit.
I don't know who, noticing that two of the iron statues in front of Yue's tomb are missing, cried out. "Come and see, the two iron statues are missing, someone must have thrown them into the West Lake, otherwise, how can the lake be so smelly?"
When the people learned of Yue Grave's loss of the iron statue, they coaxed together to the Futai Yamen to complain and ask for the bad guy who lost the iron statue.
Futai was still asleep in bed, only to hear the mixed voices outside the door, and then got up to ask. The man told the reason. Futai have a guilty conscience, then called out the word, said he was sick.
Where the people would go, the more people gathered, the stone lions in front of the Futai government were almost squeezed down. Futai is afraid that something will happen if it goes on like this, and they will come out to see the people. He said: "It's - it's all rumours. You must not believe it."
Ordinary people said: "Is it a rumor, you will know."
And they gathered round him, and were determined to take him away. Fontai could not, had to sit in the eight people's chair, to the West Lake. There was still a few miles to go from the lake, and sure enough, there was a foul smell, straight towards the car door. Fortunately, he was unable to eat that day and managed to restrain himself from vomiting.
When the chair reached the shore, the platform looked out through the cracks in the curtain, and I saw that all the people in front of it were densely packed. With a sudden jump in his heart, he slowly walked out of the sedan door, coughed a few times, and said: "It is common for the lake to stink for a while, you don't have to make a fuss." As far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with the statue."
Then someone in the crowd roared; "Who are you, Qin Hui? To protect him!"
Futai did not know how to answer for a moment. He fixed his mind and comforted himself; "Don't panic! The iron statue has sunk to the bottom of the lake, who can find it? Thinking of this, he said proudly: "You don't fool around! If someone really fished the iron statue out of the lake, the official would resign and apologize!"
The inky black lake suddenly becomes clear to the bottom. A pair of iron statues floated up from the bottom of the lake, as if they were being held by someone, and floated straight towards the platform.
Futai scared face like yellow paper, regardless of 37, 21, a head into the car, and shouted: "Run!" Run!"
The sedan chair was carried to the yamen, and the top of the sedan chair had already been hit with many holes by stones. Futai on the back of the head also hit a walnut three bumps. Without wearing his official hat, he escaped from the city of Hangzhou overnight.
The iron statue floated to the lake, and the people fished it up and carried it to the grave again to kneel down.
