Wang Zhaojun and Peach Blossom Fish
When it comes to "Zhaojun out of the fortress", everyone knows that it is about the Han Dynasty king Zhaojun marrying the Xiongnu and his relatives.
Wang Zhaojun, Mingpei, the word Zhaojun. A native of Nanjun Sister Gui (now Hubei Sister Gui). Jin avoided Sima Zhao and changed his name to Emperor Ming or Concubine Ming. In the first year of Jingning (33 B.C.), the Xiongnu called Han Evil Shan to enter the court to seek peace, she was a few years old when she entered the palace, and she was not allowed to see the emperor, so she asked to marry the Huns. After entering the Xiongnu, she was called Ninghumen (queen). After Hu Han Xie died, Emperor Cheng ordered her to "change from Hu vulgarity" and remarry and remarry the eldest son of Hu Han Evil. Under her influence, her children and the people around her worked hard to maintain good relations with the Han, so that "there was no dog barking police in the third world, and there was no fighting battle in Li Shu (the people)". Her story became a popular subject in later poetry, opera, novels, raps, etc.
Xiangxi in Lingui County, Hubei Province, is located in Wuxia, on the north bank of the Yangtze River, which is the hometown of Wang Zhaojun. Every year when the peach blossoms are in full bloom, there will be groups of peach blossom fish in the Xiangxi River, they are all transparent, floating on the water surface, there are jade white, milk yellow, pink three colors, there are more than 200 tentacles, after spreading out, they resemble peach petals, the origin of this peach blossom fish, and there is a beautiful and moving story.
According to legend, when Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty decided to let Zhaojun marry the Xiongnu and Fanqian, he allowed her to return to her hometown to visit her parents and fellow villagers. After Zhaojun returned to his hometown, he said goodbye to his relatives in detail, and on the other hand, he searched for the footprints of his childhood all over the mountains, and he was really reluctant to leave this hometown of green mountains and beautiful waters. However, the emperor is ordered to return to the capital on time and marry the Hun king in a desert and exotic land.
On the day when Zhaojun didn't go, the villagers sent one ride after another, and it was difficult to give up. Zhaojun boarded the dragon boat in the river, hugged his beloved pipa, and played a mournful and moving parting song. At this time, the blooming peach blossoms were like her bosom friend, and when she heard the touching place, she fell one after another, some fell on the boat, and some fell on her, Zhaojun couldn't help but burst into tears, and the tears fell on the peach petals, and then floated into the river. These peach petals, stained with Zhaojun's tears, have turned into colorful small fish, swimming with the dragon boat. When the mournful lute stopped, the boatmen shed tears of sympathy. A boatman picked up a small fish and offered it to Zhaojun, who affectionately gave them a beautiful name: Peach Blossom Fish.
Since then, whenever the peach blossoms are in full bloom, the peach blossom fish swim around in the clear water of Xiangxi, as if calling for the return of Zhaojun with the relatives of his hometown. So far, the old people of Xiangxi still say: Whenever the peach blossoms are in full bloom, the bright moon is in the middle of the night, sometimes you can hear the impact of the gold and jade ornaments on the clothes of ancient women, no wonder Du Fu went to Zhaojun's hometown to pay tribute to the monuments and wrote the poem "Yonghuai Monuments" in the poem "Ring the empty space to return to the moon night soul"! People thought that it must be Zhaojun, who missed his hometown, came back to visit the villagers, and the villagers also wanted to treat her with "Shuiwei Peach Blossom Fish". Hubei's famous dish, Shuiwei peach blossom fish comes from this beautiful and complaining legend.
