Old cat and little mouse
A little mouse came out for the first time to steal food, and was caught by a wily old cat. The little mouse thought that as long as he begged the old cat for forgiveness and won the old cat's sympathy, he could pick up a life, so he winked at the old cat and said: "Please let me go!" You look at my small body, a few grains of rice enough for me to eat, an egg enough for me to eat for a week! How could I be a danger to the master of your house? Why don't you let me go first, until I grow fat and fat, then you can eat me too late!"
The old cat was indifferent and said coldly, "Are you kidding? What you say to me is like telling a story to a deaf man. Think with your mind, unless the sun rises in the west and the river runs back, and you want a cat to spare a mouse, it will never happen! I want to do away with the people!" Then he pounced on the little mouse, and in a blink of an eye, the old cat ate the little mouse
The moral of this story is that the pursuit is beautiful, but when the situation is clear and the result can be determined at a glance, all pointless efforts are futile, let alone illusions.
