What if I can't set up eSIM on my iPhone
What is eSIM?
eSIM is a digital SIM card that allows you to activate a cellular number provided by your carrier without using a physical SIM card.
The new iPhone needs to be connected to a wireless LAN *.
The iPhone has an active cellular number and eSIM provided by a carrier that supports eSIM.
An iPhone or iOS device needs to have the latest version of iOS installed that they can use.
* ESIM-only iPhone 14 models can be activated without wireless LAN.
Follow these steps
Go to Settings > General > About This Unit and look under EID for any numbers. If there are no numbers, contact Apple Support.
After completing each of the following steps, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open Control Center. Check to see if your carrier is displayed in the status bar. If not, go to the next step.
Turn airplane mode on and off.
Go to Settings > Cellular and check that the number you are trying to activate is displayed here. If the number is displayed, turn it off and back on.
Restart the device.
