The Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) was established on July 1, 1976. It is the official export credit agency of South Korea, operating in accordance with the Export-Import Bank of Korea Act. Its core goal is to provide financial support for South Korea's exports, overseas investment and overseas natural resource development to promote the healthy development of South Korea's national economy. The bank has excellent credit ratings, obtaining high ratings from many rating agencies such as S&P A+ and Moody's Aa3. Its business mainly includes two categories: loans and guarantees, covering export loans, overseas investment loans, project financing, financing guarantees, etc. It also actively carries out international cooperation, with representative offices in many countries including China, providing financial support for infrastructure construction and trade cooperation between China and South Korea, and helping South Korean enterprises go global.
